The theme for this month is OCTOBER! (Yom Kippur, World Smile Day, Hispanic Heritage Month, United Nations Day, and Halloween) Search through your stash and find a sheet of October vibes one-sided paper. Write a handwritten or typed personal letter to your partner.

Seal the letter (think a sticker, wax seal, or a bit of washi tape).

Respond to three of the following writing prompts and would you rather questions.

WRITING PROMPTS:

1. Local events, parades or festivals – either in your hometown or state.

2. Life update – what’s happened recently, moving house, family wedding, vacation, new pet, visited with a friend, etcetera.

3. What is your favorite thing about fall?

4. Do you have any fun fall traditions?

5. What is your favorite fall scent or flavor? For example, pumpkin spice, apple cinnamon or roasting green Chile?

6. Do you prefer carving pumpkins or painting them?

7. What is your favorite fall food or drink?

8. What's the best costume you've ever worn for Halloween?

9. What is something you're really good at doing?

10. What's a skill or craft you want to learn?

11. If you could renovate any room in your home what would you change?

Answer the following "Would your rather" questions:

• Would you rather take a hayride or roast marshmallows at a bonfire?

• Would you rather carve a pumpkin or go on a hayride?

• Would you rather eat pumpkin pie or apple pie for a month?

• Would you rather have a candy apple or a caramel apple?
