Back in 2012 I had joined Purplbutterfly's swap "12 Letters in 2013"..I loved it and she is giving me permission to do the swap this year....And I did the swap in 2015.

If you want to make new friends for 2016 this is the swap for you!!

Here's how this will work, you will send your 1 partner a letter each month for 12 months & will post each month in the pro-file comments that you sent & then in Dec 2016 you will post sent (NOT BEFORE!)

Write at least a 2 pager letter each month.

It is so hard to have a one side conversation so you ****NEED to answer your partners letter so they will have something to write about the next month.****

So...because the partner I'm writing to isn't necessarily the one writing to me, does this mean we're not only writing to our assigned partner but also responding to the partner assigned to us? If so, how does that work rating wise? Let's say I'm supposed to send my swap to Mary, but Sue is the one sending to me. I write my monthly letters to Mary and she is the one rating me...but I also have to respond each month to Sue. Well, what if I don't respond to Sue? How is she supposed to rate me if that's part of the swap requirement?

I love this idea but am hesitant to sign up based on this added requirement that seems impossible to rate or hold the swappers to.

@bombardiette who will only rate the one who is sending to you. The one that sends to you,you will rate

It is not a requirement to respond to the one who writes to you but it would be nice. Specially if you like pen pals. Writing back to your partner that sends to you will make it easier for her to write you.
